Winter fishing on Trout Creek
Trout Creek is in fishing Region 8 (Okanagan). BC has no separate ice fishing season, so the regular rules apply through the ice: the 2025-2027 synopsis lists rules of its own for this water, shown below, on top of the regional quotas.

- Upstream of the trestle exempt from spring closure
- Trout/char: 5, but not more than 1 over 50 cm and 4 from streams (only 2 over 30 cm). You may also keep 20 brook trout from streams. Release bull trout (Dolly Varden) from streams.
- Bass: 0 quota, closed to fishing (see tables for exceptions)
- Burbot: 2
- Crappie: 20
Nearest snow station: Greyback Reservoir (1,550 m, 16 km away), 6 cm on November 6.
