Regulations

A valid BC freshwater fishing licence is required; the South Cariboo is in fishing Region 5 (Cariboo), and several lakes, including Canim and Green, have seasonal closures at creek mouths. Recreation site and Crown land camping is limited to 14 days at one site. Much of the plateau is also cattle range, so close the gates you open and give cattle room on the forest roads.
