Regulations

A valid New Brunswick fishing licence is required on every water on this page. All sea-run Atlantic salmon must be released, salmon may only be fished with barbless artificial flies, and non-residents need a licensed guide for salmon and, after April 15, for any species on the guide-required stretches of the Little Southwest Miramichi. Class II protected natural areas and conserved areas allow tent camping, fishing and hunting, with vehicles only on authorized roads and trails. Check the daily burn conditions before lighting a campfire.
