Crown Land around Fundy National Park
Fundy National Park covers about 206 km² of the Caledonia Highlands above the Bay of Fundy, and the land around it is a mix of provincial protected areas and small coastal communities. This page is centred on Alma, the village at the park's east gate, where the Headquarters Campground sits at the edge of town. Inside the park, Chignecto (3 km) and Point Wolfe (7 km) are the other main campgrounds, with backcountry sites at Foster Brook, Marven Lake and Tracey Lake 7 to 11 km out. Outside it, the Upper Salmon River protected natural area is about 3 km away, Point Wolfe River Gorge (840 ha) 14 km, and Mount Tom and McManus Hill about 17 km. Cape Enrage Provincial Park is 13 km east. Our map shows 142 lakes, rivers and brooks within 25 km, from the Upper Salmon River in Alma to McLaren Pond. This page rounds up the region's public land, fishing spots, campgrounds and road trips.
