Cross-country ski and snowshoe trails in Ontario

The Ontario Trail Network lists 10,351 km of trail open to cross-country skiing and 7,666 km open to snowshoeing, run by conservation authorities, provincial parks, municipalities, ski clubs and trail associations. These are the 124 networks with at least 10 km of ski or snowshoe trail, grouped by the nearest town. Each page maps the trails, lists them by length and use, and shows the lakes, campgrounds and other trail networks around them.

A trail is listed for skiing or snowshoeing when its managing organization permits that use; it does not mean the trail is groomed or track-set this week. Long multi-use trails (rail trails, the Trans Canada Trail) are usually packed by snowmobiles or left natural. Check the organization's own trail report before you go.
